Friday Night Lights: Preview for This Week's Episode
Last week on Friday Night Lights, Coach and Tami looked into day care for Gracie, but found themselves having a tough time letting go. Lyla started working as a DJ on a Christian radio station, Matt discovered that he is actually in love with Carlotta, and Smash realized that those close to him may not be ready for interracial dating.

The drama continues this week in the episode “Humble Pie.” Read on to find out what's in store for the 13th episode of Friday Night Lights' second season.

“Humble Pie” finds a problematic Brian "Smash" Williams (Gaius Charles) as charges are pressed against him after a confrontation at the movie theater turns from bad to worse. Smash must now decide whether he must swallow his pride and say sorry or stand up for what he believes is right.

Meanwhile, Tami Taylor (Connie Britton) is hired by Coach Taylor (Kyle Chandler) as the girls' volleyball coach and turns to Tyra Collette (Adrianne Palicki) for help. Tyra, on the other hand, is dealing with some issues of her own as she sees Landry (Jesse Plemons) working with Jean Binnel, a smart woman with pink hair, on a project for physics class. Later, Landry brings Jean to Applebee's to continue their work and finds Tyra as their waitress.

Tim Riggins (Taylor Kitsch) faces tough times as he tries to express what he is feeling to Lyla Garrity (Minka Kelly), while as Lyla and Chris go on a date at a "religious" miniature golf course.

As for Jason Street (Scott Porter), he finds a new career, while Santiago and Tim Riggins (Taylor Kitsch) make fun at Smash for kissing a certain woman.

Friday Night Lights also stars Aimee Teegarden as Julie Taylor, Kyle Chandler as Eric Taylor, and Zach Gilford as Matt Saracen.

“Humble Pie” airs on Friday, January 25 at 9pm EST on NBC.
