Biography

Tangi Miller was born the eldest of six children on February 28, 1974 in Miami, Florida. She attended Alabama State University where she got her degree in marketing. After graduation, she realized that she had spent all her free time acting and decided to formally pursue it. She went on to get her Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of California then studied at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival and the Royal National Theater in London. She got her big break when she was cast as the stylish Elena Tyler on the popular show, Felicity.

Elena Tyler, played by Tangi Miller on Felicity, is an ambitious pre-med student who is determined to succeed after growing up in a poor neighborhood. Straightforward and competitive, she once had an affair with one of her professors and came very close to marrying her boyfriend, Tracy.
