Ian Gomez


Ian Gomez was born December 27, 1964 in New York City. He is an alumnus of Chicago’s ImprovOlympia improvisation troupe, whose members include Jon Favreau and the late Chris Farley. He left Chicago in 1994 in search of his first major break, which he found when he became a semi-regular on The Drew Carey Show. He is married to actress Nia Vardalos and is the inspiration for John Corbett’s character in the film, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, which his wife wrote.
Javier Quintata, played by Ian Gomez on Felicity, is the Spanish-born openly gay manager at the coffeehouse where Felicity works. He is married to his life partner, Samuel and is a loyal and loving friend to Felicity.
