Could sugar and spice and oh so sweet be as bad as born obnoxious? It seems that the Orange County girl left standing in the reality show,
Farmer Wants a Wife, is no better-liked than her recently eliminated fellow Californian.
Last week, we reported that notorious
Josie Goldberg, the other Orange County lass in the reality series, was kicked out of contention for farmer Matt's affections. She was unquestionably a popular choice among her fellow
Farmer Wants a Wife contestants to get the boot, with her loud potty mouth and prima donna attitude. What's turned out to be a surprise though, is how her much sweeter and nicer compatriot is now getting flak from the other remaining contenders.
"They keep calling me things behind my back," 22-year old
Brooke Ward said. "I can only imagine the wonderful things they're saying now."
"She's immature, naive and a dumbass," “She's just dumb as rocks" and "She's just dumb" were heard coming out of the mouths of some of the other babes hoping to become Mrs. Farmer
Matt Neustadt.
Nevertheless, the verbal abuse those non-virgin women heaped on the self-professed carnally untouched and inexperienced Brooke notwithstanding, the opinion that matters is really farmer Matt's. Judging by what he muttered following the tractor-driving immunity challenge.
"She's definitely someone I'd like to see stick around for awhile," Farmer Matt remarked about Brooke, who bested the rest and drove off with the immunity. "You did a kick-ass job," our
Farmer Wants a Wife lothario told her.
"So far, from what I've seen, we seem to have a lot in common," Brooke had said earlier at a quilting party.
Just how far will the remaining Orange County entry in Farmer Wants a Wife go? Can she stay in Farmer Matt's good graces? Or, will her sugar and spice and everything nice packaging eventually sicken his stomach as much as her rivals? Only time will tell as it all remains to be seen in the coming episodes.
