Are you ready for more Fargo quirkiness? FX CEO by John Landgraf announced today during the Television Critics Association press tour that Fargo will return for an all-new second season in 2015.
"We could not be more proud of Fargo," said Landgraf. "Noah's audacious, bordering on hubristic riff on my favorite Coen brothers film earned 18 Emmy nominations - the most for a single program in our history. Fargo was nothing short of breathtaking and we look forward to the next installment."
Fargo season 2 will include a new cast, time period, and original "true crime" story which will be told over 10 episodes.
Could the story be heading back to the Winter of 1979 to explore the story that Lou Solverson told Lorne Malvo at the diner? FX hasn't provided any insight to the new story, but if there were story breadcrumbs in season 1, that seems the most likely direction.

Fargo season 2 will air no sooner than Fall 2015.
