Fifth Season of 'Family Guy 'Coming Out on DVD This Fall
The fifth season of Family Guy ended on May 20, but fans can catch the first 13 episodes again when it comes out on DVD this fall.  20th Century Fox, the production company behind the hit animated series, has announced it will be releasing Family Guy, Volume 5 on September 18.

The DVD contains three discs, with disc one hosting the first six episodes of the fifth season, namely “Stewie Loves Lois,” “Mother Tucker,” “Hell Comes to Quahog,” “Saving Private Brian,” “Whistle While Your Wife Works” and “Prick Up Your Ears.”

The second disc holds the subsequent seven episodes, “Chick Cancer,” “Barely Legal,” “Road to Rupert,” “Peter’s Two Dads,” “The Tan Aquatic with Steve Zissou,” “Airport ’07” and “Bill and Peter’s Bogus Journey.”

The third and last disc contains the DVD’ special features, such as 38 Deleted Scenes, 3 ANIMATIC EPISODES with Optional Commentary, “Drawing Peter,” “Toys, Toys Galore,” Freakin’ Sweet Promo and Tickle Video- EASTER EGG on “Steve Loves Lois”

All thirteen episodes can be heard with accompanying commentaries from creator Seth MacFarlane (Peter Griffin), Mila Kunis (Meg Griffin), Alex Borstein (Lois Griffin), Kim Fertman, David Goodman, Mike Henry, Mark Hentemann, Tom DeVanney, Chris Sheridan, Leann Siegel, Kirker Butler, Dan Povenmire, Danny Smith, Cherry Chevapravatdumrong, Charles Song, Cyndi Tang, Steve Callaghan, Kara Vallow, Suzanna Makkos, James Purdum, Patrick Meighan, Andy Tauke, Zac Moncrief, John Holmquist and Andrew Goldberg.

Golden Globe nominee Drew Barrymore, the voice behind Brian Griffin’s girlfriend, Jillian, is also part of one of the episode commentaries.

The fifth season of Family Guy delivered numerous memorable moments, including Stewie and Brian enlisting for the army and being deployed to Iraq, Lois gaining employment as a high school Sex Education teacher, and Peter becoming the local neighborhood bully.

The fifth season DVD has been priced at $39.98.  Meanwhile, fans can expect a Star Wars Tribute episode when Family Guy returns for another season in September.
