Seth MacFarlane, creator of the animated series
Family Guy, has reportedly found love in
Eliza Dushku, actress popularly known for playing the main character in the series
Tru Calling. According to
OK! Magazine, the pair has been secretly dating for weeks after hooking up in Los Angeles.
Neither Dushku nor MacFarlane have publicly revealed the status of their relationship, though a source close to the couple says, "They met through mutual friends. They're enjoying each other's company so far. He makes her laugh a lot and she really enjoys good laughs and good conversation."

At present, Dushku is working with FOX, having signed a lucrative new development deal with the network last September. This 27-year-old actress has already worked with the network in series such as
Buffy the Vampire Slayer,
Angel and
King of the Hill. After her stint on
Tru Calling, she was cast in the FOX unaired pilot,
Nurses, and recently landed a guest spot on ABC's
Ugly Betty where she portrayed Cameron Ashlock in the episode “Giving up the Ghost.”
Additionally, Dushku has several movie projects slated for release this year, including the horror thriller
Open Graves, the crime drama
The Thacker Case, the animated film
Noah's Ark: The New Beginning, and the thriller movie
The Alphabet Killer, just to name a few.
Two-time Emmy-winning comedian MacFarlane, 34, on the other hand, continues to serve as show runner for
Family Guy, as well as the voice of the show's cartoon characters, such as
Peter Griffin and as
Stan Smith and
Roger the Alien on
American Dad. He is also currently working on a
Family Guy spin-off that revolves around Peter Griffin's bathtub-accident-prone neighbor, Cleveland Brown. The impending project, tentatively titled Cleveland, is being written by MacFarlane, Mike Henry, who voices Cleveland and serves as writer-producer on the series, and
The Simpsons alum Rich Appel, who also serves as executive producer on MacFarlane's other animated comedy for FOX,
American Dad.
