Paul DiMeo's first encounter with house renovations occurred at the age of five when his home was caught on fire. Together with his father, they were able rebuild their house. Further down the road, he was able to sharpen his skills when he built sets for the Pittsburgh Playhouse and became stage manager for the American Dance Ensemble. Aside from this, he continuously renovated lofts in Greenwich Village, Harlem, Tribeca and the East Village. His credentials include renovations for famous people like Glenn Close, Arnold Rifkin, Ann Archer, Marjorie Lord, Angelo DeSapio and George Hamilton.
Currently, Paul DiMeo can be seen on the TV show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. His creativity and ingenuity can be seen as one of the carpenters in the reality show.
