Shows were down across the board last night, on every broadcast network. Despite this TV-wide drop, CBS won the night with Big Brother. On ABC, Wipeout, Expedition Impossible and Rookie Blue all dipped considerably. And on FOX, So You Think You Can Dance didn't fare much better.

Let's take a look at the numbers.

On CBS, Big Brother was down 18% from last Thursday's premiere. It still had 6.48 million viewers to its name, though, and was the highest-rated show for adults 18-49. A dip is expected after a premiere episode, so I don't expect Big Brother to wane too much more in the coming weeks. We'll see how long it takes for everyone except the diehard fans to get burned out and move on.

ABC struggled last night, with all of its fresh programming ending the night with middling ratings. Wipeout fell 10%, with 6.37 million viewers. Expedition Impossible dropped a whopping 24%, with 4.64 million viewers. And Rookie Blue (which has been renewed for a third season) dropped 7%, with 5.33 million viewers.

On FOX, So You Think You Can Dance fell slightly versus last week's Thursday results show, with 5.21 million viewers.
