Marla Maples
Marla Maples is an American actress and model born on October 27, 1963 in Dalton, Georgia. She is most famous for having been married to business tycoon and celebrity Donald Trump, though they divorced back in 1999. The daughter of a real estate developer and an office worker, she played for the varsity basketball team during high school, and was the first to win the Miss Resaca Beach Poster Girl contest back in 1983. Maples presently resides in Los Angeles with her and Trump’s daughter Tiffany. In May 2007, she was selected to help co-host the Bravo reality television series The Ex-Wives Club along with Shar Jackson and Angie Everhart.
However, she has also been mocked in the VH1 feature “Best Week Ever” for finding fame only through her marriage to Trump. Maples has acted in a number of television series, among them Sunset Beach, Spin City, and Something Wilder. She has also appeared in the films Maximum Overdrive, For Richer or Poorer, and A Sight for Sore Eyes. Aside from her acting career, she has worked as a co-executive producer for Whispers in the Wind, as well as an associate producer for Destiny of Peace. She is also the cousin of Heather Locklear.
