Brad Garrett carved himself a niche on television when he was cast on Everybody Loves Raymond. From 1996 to 2005, he played the role of Robert Barone, the older brother of Raymond, played by actor Ray Romano. Conceived out of wedlock, he was born to parents Marie and Frank. He worked as a workaholic cop and was famous for his sibling rivalry with Raymond. Despite his jealousy, he was still perceived as a caring uncle and one of Raymond’s closest friends. Throughout the show, he was also noted for his quirky habits and antics.

When Everybody Loves Raymond ended, Garrett became active in voice acting. He worked in animated shows and films, serving the voice of Uto in Tarzan II, Obelix in Asterix et les Vikings, and Easter Island Head in Night at the Museum. He guest starred on Howard Stern on Demand and was cast in the movie Music and Lyrics, alongside Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore.

At present, Garrett stars on the Fox sitcom entitled ‘Til Death as the character Eddie Stark, the pessimistic realist who considers himself an expert on most topics. The cast also includes Joely Fisher as his wife Joy Stark, and Kat Foster and Eddie Kaye Thomas as Steph and Jeff Woodcock, his newly wed next door neighbors. Aside from his regular TV gig, he has an upcoming animated film called Ratatouille, in which he serves as the voice of Gusteau. Scheduled for release on June 29, the film follows a young rat living within the walls of a popular eatery place in Paris who aspires to become a chef but is hindered by his family’s cynicism. Later this year, his movie Christmas is Here Again will also be released. He will be providing the voice of Charlee in the musical animated film that centers on the adventures of an orphan girl. Other actors included in the movie are Kathy Bates, Andy Griffith, Jay Leno, Daniel Roebuck, and Shirley Jones.
