Eureka will end after five seasons and fans can expect the Syfy series to go out with a bang. When we last saw U.S. Marshal Jack Carter and the rest of the town, several developments happened and we were left with a big cliffhanger that's enough to chew on until the show's return this year. Holly and Fargo finally got together while Allison decided to move in with Jack. Unfortunately, Allison disappeared along with the crew of the Astreaus mission and it's not known whether she survives.
Eureka is available on Amazon Prime.
What to Expect from Eureka Season 5:
With the promos of the final season of Eureka teasing that "everything you know is wrong," viewers can expect that not everything is what it seems in the high tech fictional community. Apparently, it's going to be hard to tell who can be trusted, who's faithful or who's the smartest of them all.
Colin Ferguson, who plays Carter, reveals to BryanReeseman.com
's season 5 premiere, which he describes as "hands down, undeniably the best episode we've ever done," would somewhat serve as the season finale of season 4 in attempt to address the cliffhangers that were left dangling.
Additionally, there's bit twist. Ferguson says, "It takes a left turn at the end of the episode that no one sees coming. It turns the whole series on its ear for the next arc that they go on. It's awesome and the best cliffhanger we have. At the end of the episode, you can't help but go, "Damn!!!"
Joining the cast of Eureka for its fifth and final season are guest stars Wil Wheaton (Big Bang Theory) as Dr. Parrish and Felicia Day (The Guild) as Dr. Holly Marten.
Eureka begins airing new episodes on April 16 on Syfy.
