Fans are ecstatic to know that the 15th and final season of ER is up and coming at the end of the month, and fans will get a glimpse of how the very massively successful NBC series will end.  The upcoming season is spiced up by appearances by both new and familiar faces, as BuddyTV previously reported.  In fact, the star-studded season will include appearances by Shane West, who returns as Dr. Ray Bennett, Angela Bassett who will play Dr. Cate Banfield, and more importantly, Anthony Edwards, who reprises his role as Dr. Mark Greene.

While it is true that Dr. Mark Greene is already six feet below the ground, he will be appearing in season 15 in a flashback involving Bassett’s Dr. Banfield.  Fans are already hopeful for George Clooney’s return, but representatives for the actor had not yet commented on this.  Meanwhile, let’s take a look at some spoilers for the upcoming season of ER.

The season premiere entitled “Life After Death”, which airs on September 25, will follow Abby and Malik as they try to help the 8-year-old Jasmine, who is trapped in a burning car.  The bright child who has impressive knowledge on medicine tells Abby what type of inhaler she has for her moderate persistent asthma.  More surprisingly, she can say the words "Beclomethasone" and "leukotriene."  Meanwhile, Gates tries to intubate a conscious Pratt, who is guarded by Sam and Morris. Neela is enlisted to help Pratt, who eventually needs CPR himself.

Episode 15.02, “The Book of Abby,” will follow Abby as she engages in a funny conversation with 11-year-old twin brothers Curly and Larry, which makes her think that she is being punked.  Morris becomes insecure about his skills after hearing Pratt’s comment, while one of Abby’s patients attempts to commit suicide by going up to the roof to jump.  A rumor spreads, saying that Abby, Luka and their son are relocating to Boston.

Episode 15.03, “Another Thursday at County,” sees Bancroft as she tests Sam to know what she is capable of.  She also orders Gates and the interns to take care of the injured Felix, who keeps telling them all to back off.  Moreover, Felix creates more trouble by bringing in white powder, which turns out to be extremely lethal.

Episode 15.04, “Parental Guidance,” will follow 13-year-old Julie, who is brought to the ER after she falls off a six-foot wall.  While Sam, Gates and one of the interns work on her, they discover that she did not fall, but was instead pushed off.

Catch ER as it returns to NBC with its final season on September 25.
