ER’s fifteenth and final season is now on a roll, with more heart-stopping drama and intense scenes that would leave fans on the edges of their seats, wanting more. Last week, we saw the interns get abck to work while the veterans took the reigns. Adjustment was a requirement for everyone as they were all dealing with having a new Chief—Dr. Banfield.
Meanwhile, Dr. Banfield herself encountered some trouble after a street thug tried to rob her off some cash. Of course, she wasn’t one to back down. In fact, she sent him straight to the hospital where he was to repent for his sins.
Dr. Banfield’s little test of courage and determination didn’t end there as she came back to the hospital to face a sociopathic sister of an abused patient, whom she calmly questioned and later got to the bottom of things. Her famous last words?
“I don’t buckle.” Now that is one thing she has made clear to all of the staff. Finally, we see Archie trying to deal with the advances of an attractive daughter of a former patient, who admitted that she was a call girl. Upset at Archie’s rebuff, the girl in turn called him out to be as much as a sinner as she may be.
Meanwhile, Neela is still doing a balancing act with her two men, Dr. Brenner and Ray. Dr. Brenner seems to be seeing the light now and realized that a one-night stand might not be a strong enough cornerstone for their relationship, while Neela is still conversing with Ray over IM.
Tonight on ER, the story continues as Gates feels neglected over Sam’s distraction due to her pharmacology exam review. Later, a stab wound victim comes into the ER after a school fight and Brenner tries to find out what really tool place. Morris surprises Neela with an unexpected guest while Gates gets locked into a stairwell with a quite young boy on Halloween.
