After the successful opening of The Goods, Jeremy Piven said his role in the film very much resembles his very popular alter ego on the long-running HBO comedy Entourage, and not only that, for everyone's sanity, he said everyone should try being Ari Gold.

"I'm so lucky to put on that power suit and whip myself into a frenzy and all that ADD, quick-twitch, wrecking-ball energy," Piven, 44. "The things I get to do, clearing desks and firing people, are incredibly therapeutic. They should have retreats where people go and get to be Ari Gold for a week."

But not to discourage Entourage fans, Piven revealed that he wasn't an abusive motor mouth slave driver who, like in a recent episode, attempted to hit his assistant Lloyd (Rex Lee) with a golf club while ordering him to run to the next sandbox.

"I think people expect me to be that guy, and they respond to me as if I am and then are disappointed when I'm not. The reality isn't that I really am that guy. It's that I really know that guy. I've been represented by him. I've observed guys like him up close for years."

Piven said the character he plays on The Goods is a downscale version of his Ari Gold. Don Ready is among the band of hardcore car salesman who roam the country rescuing foundering dealerships.

"When I read the script, to be honest with you, I thought, 'This is Vince Vaughn.' I thought for sure it was written for Vince Vaughn and I didn't even want to say his name because I didn't want to give them any ideas."

On the last episode of Entourage, Eric (Kevin Connolly) thinks over the job offer from the previous episode, while trying to save face and recover from something embarrassing that he told Ashley. Elsewhere, Drama (Kevin Dillon) was able to put himself in between Jamie-Lynn and a notorious television big boss, while Ari was surprised by an agency visit from Andrew's estranged wife.
