Film and television actor
Adrian Grenier proved that he isn't completely like his big-shot Hollywood character on
Entourage. He recently showed that he can be a knight in shining armor for his girlfriend, Australian actress Isabel Lucas, involved in a driving accident with her
Transformers co-star Shia LeBeouf.
Adrian Grenier managed to step in when a photographer asked Lucas a question she wasn't comfortable answering. She and Grenier were walking hand in hand in Los Angeles, when Lucas was approached by the media, investigating her part with LeBeouf's alleged crime. She was asked how she was doing and how she felt after what happened.
Lucas didn't seem to be prepared to face reporters that time, but Grenier jumped right in to answer for her. “She's okay, we're good. This is not the time for an interview,” he said. The actress politely added a gracious remark for supporting them, but was ushered away by Grenier.
Isabel Lucas was reported to be the mystery passenger in LeBeouf's truck when it collided with another vehicle in Hollywood. LeBeouf was left with a serious injury to one of his hands, while Lucas had minor damages to her head. The actress' mother gave a statement refuting the rumors that LeBeouf was drunk during the incident. She continued to insist that Lucas would never allow herself to be in a car with a drunk driver.
Though charged with a misdemeanor, Shia LeBeouf has already been deemed faultless for the incident. Los Angeles police have already determined that it was the other driver who ran a red light and caused the accident. Adrian Grenier, who remained testy and irritable after finding out about Lucas' injury, was not able to comment about the issue yet. He and LeBeouf haven't settled the controversies as of now, since Grenier seems to be busy making sure that his girlfriend is doing alright.
