It will most probably be a four-second cameo or something but
Entourage is really pulling the big guns for its upcoming season, which kicks off June 27, with confirmed guest spots by Diddy and Lenny Kravitz.
Mark Wahlberg Determined to Make 'Entourage' FilmEntertainment Weekly is reporting that the 40-year-old rap mogul is set to appear as himself alongside
Entourage executive producer (and once-upon-a-time rapper himself) Mark Wahlberg in an August episode.
Creator Doug Ellin explained that Diddy will be involved in Turtle's (Jerry Ferrara) new business arc. "Turtle is starting a business, and he's trying to get them to invest in it," Ellin said. "He's going to a lot of people about this investment."
Another big shot headed to
Entourage is rocker-actor Lenny Kravitz. The 46-year-old Grammy winner will also appear in the same episode as Diddy.
"Ari's trying to trade favors," Ellin said. "He's got to get Lenny to do a movie so someone else will do something for him."
Kravitz just came from a sterling acting performance, as a male nurse in the Oscar-winning drama
Precious, where he was nominated for a NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture award.
But can the Hollywood-themed HBO series net the biggest fish of all? It's no secret that President Obama watches
Entourage, and that his campaign schedule was such so he wouldn't miss an episode, but is a cameo from the president possible at this point?
"I'm trying to get him," Ellin told
Market Watch. "Rahm Emanuel is supposed to deliver him."
White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, of course, is the brother of Ari Emanuel, the inspiration behind Jeremy Piven's notoriously fearsome character on the show.
