If you're ever worried that all the name-calling is bringing all kinds of emotional damage to Rex Lee on Entourage, then fret no more. Jeremy Piven, who plays the abuser Ari Gold on the HBO show, revealed that he used to apologize to Lee right after he does or says something horrible to him (most likely involving Zac Efron's balls or something), but stopped because Lee told him to.
"I used to say I'm sorry to Rex Lee, who plays Lloyd, and he would be like, 'Oh, God, who cares?' I do these awful things to him between 'action' and 'cut,' and he just takes it like a champ. I will say that it does all completely pay off this season. I can't tell you more because I'd probably get into a lot of trouble."
As we all know, this season on
Entourage might very well mark a difference in the much beloved Ari-Lloyd relationship as the assistant is determined to go up and become an agent, and Ari is only too willing to oblige - with his own batch of conditions, which includes an unkind and torturous diet regimen.
In other
Entourage news, it was a true foot-in-mouth moment when ABC reporter Dan Harris asked Jamie-Lynn Sigler if someone as beautiful as her would ever date "fat dudes" in real life. On the show, the star is dating frumpy Turtle, played by Jerry Ferrara. It escapes the journalist, however, that Sigler is dating Ferrara in real life. In response, Sigler bowed her head in shame and awkwardness while Harris beamed, probably thinking, 'Wow, what a wonderful question to get Sigler blush like this.' She said yes, adding that she didn't consider her boyfriend to be fat at all.
Of course, things like this, they go on forever until everything is so irreversibly awkward, and Harris still had no clue that she was talking about Ferrara. On the next question, Sigler finally found an opportunity to smoothly drop the bomb on the naïve journalist, who needed an extra question to get things clear. "I didn't know that," he finally said, 'My bad.' He was laughing nervously, probably thinking, 'Oh shoot, I just called her real-life boyfriend fat.'
And finally on the
Entourage news trail, Debi Mazar is reportedly putting in much practice hours with partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy for the upcoming season of
Dancing with the Stars. ABC has recently released rehearsal photos for the sixteen tandems, the largest cast in the show's history.
