On tonight's episode of
Entourage, Ari is on a mission to get Vince in
Smoke Jumpers but there's a huge problem. Studio exec Alan Gray doesn't want anything to do with Vince, especially after he screwed him on
Aquaman. Vince came to a realization in last week's episode, after a spiritual (and drug filled) trip to Joshua Tree. He doesn't want to do
Benji the movie just to earn some cash. He wants to maintain his dignity and earn the respect of the people who matter in Hollywood again. Unfortunately for Vince, winning of Alan Gray is a lot harder than anyone anticipated but Ari heads to the golf course to gamble and bet his favorite client into the movie.
Money is tight in Vinny Chase's world and it's affecting everyone. Turtle is in need of some cash so Vince convinces Drama to hire him as his personal assistant. Drama spends the day making ridiculous requests from wanting bananas sliced to 1/8 inch to demanding only the raisins from the Raisin Bran box. At the suggestion of another assistant to keep his client happy, Turtle finds an extra from the set that is willing to sleep with Drama but that's the last thing he wants. Fed up with Drama's diva attitude, Turtle tells him where he can shove it and quits after only one day of work.
Vince's hometown friend Dom makes his way back into his life again and once again, he's in trouble. Dom puts in a call to Vince - while being chased by police on the freeway! He is caught and thrown in jail and begs Vince and Eric to bail him out. Since Vince doesn't have the cash, he convinces E to put the money up instead. Eric spends the day doubting Dom, worrying that he'll jump bail but it turns out, he really has turned his life around. He has a beautiful baby girl and a woman who loves him but one who also said that if he ever landed in jail, she's split. When he confessed what had happened, shad made good on her word.
On the golf course, Alan brought along his good friend, golf pro Phil Mickelson. He also invited Bob Ryan (hilariously portrayed by Martin Landau) who was happy to join and pitch his movie ideas. Is that something you might be interested in? Alan ends up beating Ari on the course, badly, and shouts at him that he never wants to hear Vince's name again. He gets himself so worked up that he ends up dropping dead of a heart attack right there on the course and what that means for Ari, Vince, and
Smoke Jumpers remains to be seen.
