Entourage: Episode 5.4, "Fire Sale" Recap
On tonight's episode of Entourage, Drama prepares for his big appearance on The View.  He postpones his breakup depression and recovers quickly from a hangover in order to turn in a perfect performance.  Ari tries to convince Eric that he can get a better deal for his indie writers but Amanda puts a solid offer on the table.  Eric gets put in a tough spot when the writers ask him to start a bidding war to get their film made.  A studio owner asks to buy the film but doesn't want Vince attached.  He offers the writers 350K and Vince an Executive Producer credit as a sign of good faith, but Ari turns him down.  With 5 meetings left, Ari insists that Eric not sell the script until they have all of the offers.

On The View, Drama's castmates reveal on live national television that he just got dumped.  After being encouraged by Whoopi, Sherri, and Elizabeth to express his feelings over the breakup, he ends up breaking down and running off the set.  Over an icy lunch, Amanda lets Eric have it but he fires back, accusing her of lowballing him.  On behalf of her boss, Edward Norton, she pulls out of the bidding war.  Drama downs in his sorrow in the limo minibar.  Completely wasted, he rolls down the window and starts waving his pants around while screaming, "I have nothing!"

Eric meets up with Ari and finds out that the film, Smoke Jumpers, got picked up but with Vince playing a secondary part instead of the lead.  Not only did Vince agree to it, it was his idea.  When the writers find out that Edward Norton pulled out, they act very disappointed but still agree to do the film.  The celebration is dampened when the boys get a call to bail Drama out of jail.  As they head out, Amanda calls Eric offering 2 million plus Edward Norton attached - but no Vince.
