Entourage: Episode 5.1, "Fantasy Island" Recap
Entourage returns tonight for its fifth season premiere and we haven't heard from the boys in a good year.  When we last left them, they were trying to sell Medellin and were getting offers from Yair Marx and Nicky Rubenstein.  Harvey Weingard ends up picking up the film - for a dollar - after people booed and walked out of a screening of the film.  Though things didn't end well for Eric and Vince, who funded the film, Harvey will still put out the effort to promote the film and somehow turn it into an Oscar contender.  Just try to convince Vince of that, though.

Tonight kicks off with Richard Roeper reviewing Medellin and admits that he booed with the rest of the crowd at Cannes.  It's called overacted and underdirected, and Eric watches every jab from his apartment.  He's not the only one bothered by the slam.  At the office, Ari threatens to fire anybody who mentions the words Richard Roeper.  A producer calls ready to book Vince in a film but he needs to meet with him tomorrow, which means that Ari is under a big time crunch to bring him home from his meltdown in Mexico.

While filming a promotional photo shoot for his television show, Drama refuses to turn to his right side, saying that he only shoots from the left.  On the right, he looks freakish.  The photographer is annoyed and decides to call the producers, which could spell trouble.  Meanwhile, in Mexico, Vince is doing nothing but spending time with every girl he can get his hands on and Turtle is along for the ride.  Eric calls him to come home for the meeting but he refuses to leave Mexico right now for a movie called Danger Beach.  When E can't get things done, Ari decides to step in and make sure that he comes home and makes this meeting.

Everyone reunites in Mexico with a common goal: get Vince to come around, come home, and make a movie.  Unfortunately, he's not interested.  Eric pulls him aside and asks Vince to let him fix his career, taking responsibility for Medellin.  For him, Vince heads home and goes to his meeting.  During it, Adam Davies sees the two talking and calls Ari to says that the whole thing was a set up in order to get Emile Hirsch to close the deal and sign on for the movie.  Vince takes the rejection well, though, and ends up laughing off Medellin with the boys.  He makes a promise: to take back the throne and get back to the top of his career.
