Born on September 9, 1981 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Julie Gonzalo was raised in Miami, Florida, where she began her career as a print model. She later took extensive training in acting and dance, and soon ventured into acting on television. She landed her first film audition for I'm With Lucy, which starred Monica Potter and Gael Garcia Bernal. In 2003, she appeared in Freaky Friday, alongside Lindsay Lohan, Jamie Lee Curtis and Chad Michael Murray. Gonzalo again worked with Chad Murray in A Cinderella Story, with Hillary Duff. In FOX's Dodgeball, she played Justin Long's love interest. Her other recent film work include those in Must Love Dogs with Diane Lane and Dermot Mulroney and Christmas with the Kranks. As for television, Gonzalo appeared on
Veronica Mars as Parker. She also became part of ABC's Eli Stone, where she plays Maggie Dekker.
Maggie Dekker is played by Julie Gonzalo in the ABC series, Eli Stone. Maggie is an inexperienced junior associate who doesn't believe in Eli Stone's decision to change his life, after he realizes that he may be a real prophet.
