Thursday, April 10, 2008

eli stoneLast week on Eli Stone, Eli's visions propelled him back in time to the day his father died.  At the same time, his brother Nathan was being sued for giving a heart transplant to another patient.  By the end of the episode, Eli finally understood the emotional secret his brother has been hiding for years and made amends as he got the chance he missed to say goodbye to his father.  Eli also learned that Matt slept with Taylor.

The comedy-drama continues tonight as Eli Stone takes viewers to the possible future that lies ahead for the mercenary attorney.  After his larger-than-life visions, caused by his inoperable brain aneurysm, prove to be more and more truthful than ever before, Eli must now face the painful reality waiting to unfold.

Tonight's episode called “Patience” follows Eli as he takes on the case of a prisoner who's been denied parole and who also happens to be a former client of Keith's following a vision of his own surprising future.  The timing couldn't be worse as law firm partner Marci Klein arrives in town to examine why the firm's Fortune 500 clients are suddenly leaving in flocks.  Apparently, this is all Eli's fault and could signify the end of Jordan's reign as senior partner in the firm.  Meanwhile, Matt attempts to win Taylor over but his actions eventually lead to the case of two gay chimpanzees.

Eli Stone features Jonny Lee Miller as Eli Stone, Victor Garber as Jordan Wethersby, Natasha Henstridge as Taylor Wethersby, Laura Benanti as Beth, Loretta Devine as Patti, Sam Jaeger as Matt Dowd, James Saito as Dr. Chen, Matt Letscher as Nathan Stone and Julie Gonzalo as Maggie Dekker.

Guest starring on tonight's episode is Katey Sagal, Golden Globe-nominated actress best known for her roles in Futurama, 8 Simple Rules, and Married... with Children.
