'Eli Stone' Adds Another Face to the New Season
As early as now, fans are clamoring for the star-studded sophomore season of Eli Stone, which continues on from where we left off last season, when Eli (Jonny Lee Miller) came face to face with God himself, who closely resembled who else but George Michael?

We recently reported that the upcoming season of Eli Stone will be filled with some Hollywood A-listers including Dawson’s Creek actress, Katie Holmes. Holmes is said to be portraying a lawyer who will break into song in one of Eli’s visions.  Add to the list Academy Award-nominated Sigourney Weaver, who will be playing a therapist who will try to figure out the on goings inside Eli’s precious brain.  This weekend, TV Guide reports that another celebrity has joined the list of guest stars in the upcoming sophomore season of Eli Stone.

Fans will be happy to know that multiple Grammy Award-winner and artist Seal will be appearing in the next season of Eli Stone.  TV Guide reports that the 45-year-old British soul singer and songwriter will be playing himself in an episode of Eli Stone, which will tentatively air in late October or early November.  Unlike George Michael, who most often appears in Eli’s hallucinations, Seal will be appearing in the flesh as Taylor Wethersby’s (Natasha Henstridge) favorite singer, who performs in the episode.

In other news, Eli Stone co-writer Greg Berlanti is currently working alongside Rene Echevarria for an ABC sci-fi project.  The new series, titled The Return, centers on the effects of aliens landing on Earth.  Echevarria’ previously worked on The 4400 and Dark Angel as executive producer.  He also has Medium and Now and Again to his name. Berlanti, on the other hand, has Dirty Sexy Money and Brothers and Sisters under his belt.  The Return will be co-written and executively produced by Berlanti and Echevarria.

ABC’s Eli Stone returns to television screens on January 2009.
