From Mexico to Mermen

Season 2 ended with Kenny Powers (Danny McBride) preparing for fatherhood and relocating back to Myrtle Beach. Prepare for an out-of-nowhere Eastbound and Down spoiler: he's going to be playing baseball again. Unexpected, right? Kenny will be pitching for the minor league team Myrtle Beach Mermen. Expect great shots of their mascot and check out their sweet logo.

A Miniature Mini-Golf Clip

Even with all these major life changes going on, Kenny Powers still finds time to relax. At least he tries to. Prepare for about fifteen seconds of next season to be ruined due to this next Eastbound and Down spoiler. Security guards will ruin Kenny's mini-golfing experience at some point, judging from some leaked footage.

A Powers-ful Cast

With this being the last season and all for Eastbound and Down, they're making sure to load the bases with serious star power. Will Ferrell (and more importantly Will Ferrell's hair) will be reprising his role as Ashley Schaeffer and Matthew MacConaughey will be dropping by again. Jason Sudeikis also joins playing Shane, a friend of Kenny. Finally, Ike Barnholtz snags a role as a Russian pitcher Powers begins to mentor.

If you're an early-2000's angry goth high-schooler, don't read this next Eastbound and Down spoiler. Despite pushing hard for the role of Shane, avid fan Marilyn Manson probably won't be appearing in season 3. Although there are rumors to the contrary, Danny McBride's still being fairly non-committal. Who knows, maybe Shane just isn't the right part for the elder statesman of shock rock. If you're reading this, Manson (and I know you are), maybe you should give Danny a break.
