Last season on Eastbound and Down, Kenny tried to reinvent himself as he moved south to Copales, Mexico but later decided to make a comeback in the Mexican baseball league. After Stevie and Maria tied the knot, they all went back to Shelby, NC with Kenny, who tried to win back April. Upset over Kenny's departure, April rejected Kenny, who then decided to move to Myrtle Beach, where he was offered a spot on Texas' minor league team by scout Roy McDaniel. But will things change now that he knows April's pregnant with his child?

What to Expect from Eastbound and Down Season 3:

The upcoming season of Eastbound and Down may also serve as the final chapter of the HBO series. Hopefully it will address the fate of Kenny and April's relationship, as well as Kenny's future in major league baseball.

"I think I would like to see some good old comedy in the sense of Kenny handling a baby," April portrayer Katy Mixon tells Zap2it.com. "April can handle anything, my goodness. I think it might be a surprise that Kenny is in this situation but I randomly think, I hope at least, he's gonna be able to handle it."

According to TV Guide, Saturday Night Live actor Jason Sudeikis will be appearing in a recurring role on Eastbound and Down season 3. He'll be playing a character named Shane, a gullible baseball player who becomes Kenny's new friend.

Additionally, two characters are expected to return to Eastbound and Down. The Hollywood Reporter reveals that  Matthew McConaughey will be back to reprise his role as openly gay talent scout Roy McDaniel while executive producer Will Ferrell will appear as Ashley Schaeffer, the blond BMW salesman who appeared twice during the first season.
