Meet the Cast of 'Dynasty'

The brainchild of Josh Schwartz, Stephanie Savage and Sallie Patrick, the CW's reboot of Dynasty is all about wealth, power and deception. The modern version of the classic soap revolves around Fallon Carrington, daughter of billionaire Blake Carrington, and her soon-to-be stepmother, Cristal, who is aiming to take over the family business. When Blake chooses Cristal over his own daughter, Fallon aligns herself with Blake's nemesis, Jeff Colby, in attempt to seek her revenge. But before the war between the Carringtons and the Colbys begins, here's what you need to know about the cast and their characters.

Grant Show as Blake Carrington

Grant Show has been part of Devious Maids, Accidentally on Purpose, Swingtown and Point Pleasant but he is most famous for his role as Jake Hanson on Melrose Place. On Dynasty, he plays the patriarch of the Carrington family. Blake Carrington is the self-made oil tycoon who is set to marry Cristal.

Nathalie Kelley as Cristal Flores

Peruvian Australian actress Nathalie Kelley is known for her debut role as Neela in the 2006 action film The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. She has also appeared on Body of Proof, The Vampire Diaries and UnReal. On the reboot, Kelley takes the lead as Cristal Flores, the driven and savvy publicity maven at Carrington Atlantic who is engaged to Blake. While she appears to truly love the billionaire, she quickly finds herself out of place in the Carringtons' world.

Elizabeth Gillies as Fallon Carrington

Serving as Cristal's nemesis is Fallon Carrington, the daughter of Blake who thought she would be getting a promotion but instead got a stepmother. Fiesty and ambitious, Fallon is determined to expose Cristal for the fraud she thinks she is. Fallon is played by Elizabeth Gillies, who was part of the television series Victorious and FX's rock 'n' roll comedy series Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll. 

James Mackay as Steven Carrington

Australian actor James Mackay plays Steven Carrington, Fallon's brother and Blake's son. Steven is gay and is considered the black sheep of the Carrington family. Prior to landing his breakthrough TV role, Mackay appeared on The Straits and The Tomorrow People.

Alan Dale as Joseph Anders

Alan Dale has long established his name on television thanks to roles on The O.C., Ugly Betty, Dominion and Secret City. On the CW series, he plays Joseph Anders, Blake's loyal butler who takes care of everything in the Carrington household.

Sam Adegoke as Jeff Colby

Sam Adegoke previously played Billy James on Murder in the First and Chris Walker on Switched at Birth. As part of the cast of Dynasty, he plays Jeff Colby, Blake's biggest rival whom Fallon eventually teams up with. 

Robert Christopher Riley as Michael Culhane

Playing the Carrington family's chauffeur Michael Culhane, also known as Fallon's secret lover, is Robert Christopher Riley. The actor is best known for his role as Terrence Wall on the VH1 series Hit the Floor.

Rafael de La Fuente as Sam Josiah "Sammy Jo" Flores

Venezuelan television actor and singer Rafael de La Fuente is credited for his roles on Grachi, Every Witch Way and Empire. On Dynasty, he plays Sammy Jo, Cristal's nephew who is the key to her past.
