JD Pardo Biography:
Born in 1980, actor JD Pardo has had considerable exposure in both the big and small screens. He started out as a model with the Ford Modeling Agency, and eventually found his way into show business. Although he is most remembered for his portrayal of murdered transgender teen Gwen Amber Rose Araujo (who used to be Edward Araujo, Jr.) in Lifetime Network's made-for-tv film A Girl Like Me: The Gwen Araujo Story, Pardo has appeared in more lighthearted productions, such as the film A Cinderella Story and the drama series Hope Ranch. Pardo’s other acting credits include American Dreams,
Veronica Mars , Supercross, Havoc,
CSI: Miami ,
The OC ,
Standoff and Titans. Currently, Pardo is appearing in the Fox television series, Drive.
Sean Salazar, on the show Drive, is portrayed by JD Pardo. Despite graduating from Paladin-Wells Academy with extremely high honors, Sean Salazar decided to forego attending Harvard University. His father, Fernando Salazar, used his high status as a businessman and a political candidate to get Sean readmitted into the prestigious school. Sean and Fernando’s relationship seem to be rocky, as Sean has not made an appearance in any of his father’s campaign-related activities.
