As reported previously,
Dog the Bounty Hunter is expected to go back to production after being on hold since November last year. Now, more confirmation comes from
Dog Chapman's son
Duane Chapman, wife
Beth Chapman, and more importantly, A&E.
"The rumors are true," Duane Chapman, son of Dog the Bounty Hunter star, said. "He [Dog] is very excited. Thank goodness for A&E. Thank goodness for a second chance. And thank goodness for the fans who have written to A&E over the last few months."

"He made a tragic mistake and I think he has really, really repented," wife Beth Chapman said of Dog. "He feels really bad about it. I don't think he will personally stop making amends until he feels OK.”
Some time in the next 10 days, the network plans to resume filming episodes of
Dog the Bounty Hunter, the reality series that chronicles Dog Chapman and his team in pursuits against actual criminals who violated the conditions of their bail. The show also centers on his life as a husband to business partner Beth Chapman, as a father to
Leland, Duane Lee Chapman, daughter Lyssa Chapman and his relationship with associate
Tim Chapman. A full 30 episodes are planned, but no air date has been set.
The network suspended Dog the Bounty Hunter after learning that Dog had used a racial slur when referring to his son Tucker's African-American girlfriend. Chapman apologized afterward, but his future as a reality TV star remained uncertain until now.
"Over the last few months, Duane Dog Chapman has taken and continues to take the appropriate steps in reaching out to several African-American organizations in an effort to make amends for his private comments to his son which were released publicly," a statement from the network said. "Since the premise of
Dog The Bounty Hunter is about second chances, we have decided to give him one."
