Every city corner holds a Darling, and fans will be seeing more of the family as Dirty Sexy Money airs its second season tomorrow, October 1, on ABC.  Webs of secrets and surprises are in store for the premiere episode, “The Birthday Present.”  This metropolis will be taken over again and everyone will see the spoiled rotten scandals that the Darlings have gotten themselves in.

Once more filled to the brim with sass and cash, Dirty Sexy Money 2 kicks off with “The Birthday Present,” in which Nick (Peter Krause) celebrates the day marking his existence.  He and Lisa originally plan on a private little affair between them, but the Darlings have other things in mind.  Tripp (Donald Sutherland) and Letitia Darling (Jill Clayburgh) decide to throw him a lavish party right on their yacht, generous with their dramatic decadence towards Nick.

Thinking that the party shouldn't go to waste, Nick thinks that it is best to use the time to reconcile Tripp and Patrick (William Baldwin).  The troubled marriage that Patrick is dealing with doesn't even compare to the fact that he's missing his transgendered lover.  Meanwhile, Brian (Glenn Fitzgerald) and his illegitimate son are reunited.  Another relationship being patched up is that of Karen (Natalie Zea) and Simon Elder's (Blair Underwood). 

Adding to the fuss and emotion is Jeremy (Seth Gabel), who reveals his feelings for Lisa (Zoe McLellan) to Nola Lyons (Lucy Liu).  As if all these issues weren't enough, a death in the family occurs and someone is even arrested for murder. 

There's another filthy rich mess going on, and you can see from the clip below that the obscenity and affluence are not going to stop anytime soon. 




Joining the regular cast on the episode are guest stars Laura Margolis as Daisy and Shawn Michael Patrick as Clark, the chauffeur.  Dirty Sexy Money airs “The Birthday Present” on Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 10pm on ABC.
