Today is newly-elected Senator Patrick's inauguration day and he's inviting Carmelita against Nick and Tripp's advice. And as cast member

Dirty Sexy Money — you're going to have crazy things happen at any grand event!"
Read on to find out what's in store for tonight's episode called “The Plan.”
In the ninth episode of
Dirty Sexy Money's sophomore season, Chase (Scott Holroyd) defies his agreement with the Darlings and threatens to go public with his accusation that Patrick (William Baldwin) murdered his sister. Filled with adoration for Carmelita (Candis Cayne), Senator Patrick Darling invites her to his oath taking ceremony despite being warned by Tripp (
Donald Sutherland) and Nick (
Peter Krause).
Moreover, Jeremy (Seth Gabel) discovers that Simon (
Blair Underwood) has control of Nola's (
Lucy Liu) little brother and Karen (
Natalie Zea) goes to Nick's apartment to reconcile with him but comes face-to-face with an armed intruder. As for Brian (
Glenn Fitzgerald), he promises God anything to make Andrea (Sheryl Lee) well again as her health deteriorates.
"The Plan" is written by Yahlin Chang and Emily Whitesell with director Michael Schultz.
Meanwhile, cast member Baldwin addresses the seeming incongruence of a series about the wealthy having appeal during our current economic downturn.
"You might think, 'What the heck do I have in common with these people?' But when you get into the relationships, the drama ... you can identify. Some people call [
Dirty Sexy Money] a 'guilty pleasure. If it is, it's a darn smart one with an incredibly talented cast," he told
TV Guide.
As
Dirty Sexy Money heads further into the second season, fans can look forward to a lot of intrigue as Baldwin promises some "juicy stuff ahead" for Patrick and girlfriend Carmelita.
