Dirty Jobs is a reality show, which showcases the host, Mike Rowe, as he explores “dirty jobs” or work that goes beyond his comfort zone. Moreover, he brings the viewers to a hardworking group of men and women who rise above the dangers of their daily tasks.

Each episode of Dirty Jobs takes celebrity Mike Rowe to a blue-collar situation, which usually entails a lot of discomfort, pain or hazards. Popularly known for being witty, sharp and sarcastic, he fools around with his “new found” job and executes them with a lot of jokes on the side, calling them “dirty jokes.” However, when it comes to his interaction with the people who actually does the job for a living, he consistently commends and respects the professional workers.

Gena McCarthy and Craig Piligian are the producers of Dirty Jobs. It airs Tuesdays at 9:00 Pm on Discovery.
