Michael C. Hall
appears to be a creepy weirdo but this is just an upshot of his credible acting expertise. This Golden Globe nominated actor has artistically portrayed gloomy and eerie roles apart from his proficiencies in singing and dancing. His versatility in acting spans the field of theater, movies and television. His ability to portray challenging and controversial roles makes him distinctly noticeable in the showbiz world. At present, he stars on the television series Dexter
Born on February 1, 1971 in Raleigh, North Carolina, Michael C. Hall studied at Earlham College and attended New York University’s Master of Fine Arts program. As an actor, he began his career in theater, doing Broadway and off-Broadway productions. His theater credits included Chicago, Macbeth, Cabaret, Cymbeline, Henry V, Timothy of Athens
and The English Teachers
to name a few. He also graced the television world as David Fisher on the award-winning television drama Six Feet Under
, where he significantly captivated the viewers and earned an Emmy nomination for his outstanding performance.
Playing the lead character Dexter Morgan on the procedural drama Dexter
gives Hall to the opportunity to once again establish his stance on the television loop. Here, Hall is showcased as a blood spatter expert working for the Miami-Dade Police Department during the day, and a gruesome serial killer by night. He depicts a character that is engulfed in mystery and trickery, which is a result of his horrid childhood. His convincingly good acting masks his anomalous character and enables him to mix and mingle among the crowd. He takes enforcement of the law into his own hands without showing remorse or mercy for those who have escaped justice. Clever and fascinatingly witty, Hall gives the show intensity and intrigue which easily enthralls the viewers.
