You get a chance to talk with me about your favorite TV shows, share any ideas you have for BuddyTV, or let me know if you have a problem on the site. Plus, you can get all the news BuddyTV has to offer, play exclusive trivia games, participate in discussions and even qualify for exclusive giveaways...like this one!

Starting today, July 20th  and ending on Monday, July 27th BuddyTV is giving away lots of goodies. We're giving away up to 5 FREE BuddyTV shirts or FREE movie tickets to some lucky followers. Plus, if we reach the goal of gaining 1,000 followers on Twitter we'll give away a DVD set! The best part is you get to decide the prize.
Update: I've had people asking if you have to be in the US to enter. You do not! This contest is open to everyone. If you want to try and win the movie tickets just remember to check if there is a Cinemark near you.

Update 2: I lost about 100 "followers" (aka spam) last night. Therefore we made appropriate adjustments to the goals as well as extended the contest to Monday morning. Any goals reached over the weekend will have winners announced Monday when the contest ends.

So what do you have to do? The rules are simple but you must do all 3 steps:

Step 1: Make sure you are following @BuddyTV on Twitter

Step 2: Just once a day tweet the following message exactly as it appears for your ReTweets to qualify:

I just entered to win a FREE DVD set from @BuddyTV For details click here: http://tinyurl.com/mrs7ne

Step 3: Watch for my tweets. You need to ReTweet (RT) at least one of them every day of the contest. This can be a news link, a reminder about the contest, whatever YOU find interesting that I have twittered. Each RT gives you 1 entry and you can enter as many times as you want. Once 1 of the goals has been reached, and a prize given away all entries will be cleared and the process starts all over again.

Here are the goals:

• 6,550 followers:
  
• 6,650 followers
• 6,750 followers
• 6,850 followers

At each "followers" mark you have a chance to win your choice of a FREE BuddyTV shirt OR 2 FREE movie tickets to any Cinemark theatre. I will announce, via twitter, when we reach a goal and the lucky winner!

Then, if we reach 7,200 followers by 9:00am PST on Monday, July 27th one lucky person will win a complete DVD season collection. Everyone who ReTweeted and sent out the contest message (Step 2) qualifies to win, even if you only participated once.
