Well, Chrismukkah has come and gone--we hope everyone got what they wished for (or what they deserve). So now it's time for our little (and getting littler by the moment) Dexter family to look toward 2010. That means working on their New Year's Resolutions, those self-help thoughts that give us hope for the coming 12 months. A peek into the diaries, Blackberries, and log books of the Miami-Metro crew reveals all.
Vince Masuka: I don't have any New Year's Resolutions. I'm cool the way I am. Just ask anyone. Especially Deb.

Angel Batista: I vow to help my friend Dexter catch the man who killed his wife--that Mitchell guy seems to have vanished into thin air! I also vow to be a good husband to Maria, because she's not only the love of my life, she's my boss. I think it's going to be a long year.
Maria Laguerta: My New Year's Resolution is to stop getting involved in my employees' personal lives. After my crush on Dexter, my affair with James, and that whole thing with Lt. Pasquale and her boyfriend a couple of years back, I think I need to clean up my act. Besides, I married one of my sergeants, so that's probably enough for a while.
Harry Morgan: I vow to spend time in heaven getting to know my daughter-in-law Rita, who recently moved in. She'll probably have a lot of questions, but I don't know if she's going to like the answers.
Joey Quinn: I resolve to attend therapy to work on my impulse-control issues. This should help me with my anger management problem. Plus I might learn to keep it in my pants when the person is so clearly inappropriate for me. That includes all crime reporters and daughters of serial killers.
Deb Morgan: I vow to stop looking for love in all the wrong places--with criminals, criminal informants, and guys old enough to be my dad who bring on the attention of the wrong element. That includes crime reporters and the daughters of serial killers. Besides, my brother and his kids need me more than any guy--I've gotta be there for them.
Dexter Morgan: I'm sorry, is it 2010 already? I've been in kind of a bad place lately. I guess I resolve to take care of my kids, keep the house clean, mourn the loss of my wife, restock my supply of bleach, duct tape, and plastic sheeting, and explain my connection to Arthur Mitchell--if anyone bothers asking. I think it's going to be a long year.
