Mark Moses was born on February, 24, 1958, and launched his acting career in New York City by appearing in various daytime dramas and stage productions. His first Broadway performance was for the play called Slab Boys, where he acted opposite Kevin Bacon and Sean Penn. He then went on to work with acclaimed director Oliver Stone on the films

Desperate Housewives. He plays Paul Young, the husband of the late Mary Alice Young (
Brenda Strong). The role has given him the opportunity to share with his castmates the 2005 and 2006 Screen Actors Guild Awards for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.
In 2006, Moses returned to the stage for the Off-Broadway production,
Burleigh Grimes. The play, which also starred Wendie Malick, Ashley Williams and James Badge Dale, ran for less than a month.
