Lyndsy Fonseca was born on January 7, 1987 in Oakland, California. She grew up initially in Alameda, then later on in Moraga, California. Among her early achievements was competing for the International Modeling and Talent Association (IMTA), where she earned recognition such as second runner-up for “Young Miss Dancer of the Year,” and first runner-up for “Miss Barbizon Young Miss Talent of the Year.” During Fonseca’s stint at the IMTA, she was discovered by a manager and agent, who helped her begin acting when she was 13 years old. Among the shows she has worked on are Malcolm in the Middle, Heroes, and The Young and the Restless.

Dylan Mayfair is portrayed by Lyndsy Fonseca in the ABC network’s Emmy Award-winning comedy drama television series Desperate Housewives. She is related to Adam Mayfair and his wife Katherine.
