Desperate Housewives viewers will see Moby Dick-reading stripper Robin (Julie Benz) on more episodes of the ABC soap, after her original three-episode arc was extended to four or maybe more, mainly due to positive response to her character.

"We've been enjoying [Benz] so much, we've extended her at least one more episode and possibly more beyond that," says Desperate Housewives executive producer Bob Daily.

Benz, who left Dexter in the most gruesome way possible last season, sashayed her way to Wisteria Lane as a stripper who wants better things for herself. Susan (Teri Hatcher) sort of took her under her wing, although her first attempts at alternative employment was gunned down because of her previous job (a father at the school apparently recognized her).

Daily adds that Robin will not stay in Susan's abode for long, as she'll get entangled with another housewife, who is also the subject of the much-ballyhooed girl-to-girl kiss - Dana Delaney's Katherine.

"Robin will be getting into a friendship," Daily explains. "That maybe turns into more than a friendship with Katherine. Katherine has had kind of a rough year and I think she's open to new experiences. She's had a rough time with men. It's going to be a sort of twisty and turny conflicted relationship for her, I think."

The fact that the two have worked together in the past makes them very comfortable with the potential girl-to-girl storyline, with Daily adding that Delaney is "really thrilled and enjoying the storyline."
