This is it, folks. The big plane crash episode (with the surprisingly teeny-weeny airplane) on Desperate Housewives. Reports have been varied as to the total number of casualties and their identities, but at least we get an assurance that people will die, including one who's a so-called fan favorite.

Adding a tinge of gloom to the whole thing is the fact it's Desperate Housewives' Christmas episode - with Wisteria Lane's very own choral group led by Bree (Marcia Cross). Adding to the confusion is the ongoing squabble between Gaby (Eva Longoria-Parker) and Lynette (Felicity Huffman). Their friendship is on the brink of collapse, so will a plane crash manage to repair things?
