Wisteria Lane has never been a stranger to hookups. Since the beginning of
Desperate Housewives, we've seen several illicit relationships, making viewers quite accustomed to the idea of sneaky affairs. Soon, however, there will be yet another hookup that will transpire as the ABC dramedy heads further into the fifth season. Unlike other affairs, though, this is something you'd never expect to happen.
Warning: Spoilers ahead!!!
According to
Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello, there's going to be a sure-to-be controversial romance between two
Desperate Housewives regulars, cast members you would never expect to be involved. As expected, many fans are now pondering and speculating on which two characters will be getting together soon.
While Ausiello hints, in a special video clip, that one of the two characters may be Tom Scavo (
Doug Savant) or Lynette Scavo (
Felicity Huffman), Zap2it.com hints that one of the parties involved is currently “a single Wisteria lady who has a daughter who is all grown up and spends her spare time catering and supporting her frienemy Bree's blossoming career.”
In other
Desperate Housewives news, word on the street is that Carlos Solis (
Ricardo Antonio Chavira) might not be blind forever. Zap2it.com reports that Carlos will soon get some good news regarding a quick surgery that could restore his eyesight, which is expected to commence around episode 9. And as expected, Gaby (
Eva Longoria Parker) will be struggling to get her figure back in a hurry.
Meanwhile, fans can catch a new episode of
Desperate Housewives every Sunday at 9pm ET/PT on ABC. In this week's episode, viewers will learn more about what transpired on Wisteria Lane in the past five years so be sure to catch “Mirror, Mirror.”
