On last night's episode of Desperate Housewives, it's disconcerting how suspicion and obsessive maternal love can rile up a supposedly sane person. Susan was so convinced that it was Danny who was responsible for Julie's attack that it got to a point that Angie had to seek the aid of a baseball bat just to retaliate. Yes, it's become that bad. On one hand, we can understand she's very protective of her daughter, which is well and good, but on the other hand, you got to give the family the benefit of the doubt here.
Elsewhere on Desperate Housewives, it was very interesting how the resurfacing of John in Gaby's life can have such a big effect on her. The kind of happy couple were at a restaurant when John, now divorced and owner of the restaurant, showed up. To complicate matters further, he hired Ana as a hostess. Of course, Gaby assured Carlos that it was al in the past, although the sight of her looking wistfully at a photo booth strip of pictures told us another thing.
Yet the more interesting storyline I've been following on
Desperate Housewives is that of Lynette's pregnancy. Surely, we've now figured out that there are more things at stake than feelings and existential whatever's. The future well-being of the family, we realize, is also contingent on the pregnancy - especially when we found out that Carlos didn't give someone a raise and a promotion because pf her pregnancy. It's also another matter entirely how she had to tell the kids about it. Clearly, they have an idea of how massive its potential effect on the family could be.
And Bree, finally, said something about Rockettes probably exhausted because their legs are always in the air. Candace - that's Karl's dancer date at a country club dinner - fell courtesy of oil on the dance floor from Bree. Bree's jealous side is delicious.
