Desperate Housewives

Though Eva Longoria hasn't directly confirmed the issue yet, many media outlets are reporting that the 32-year-old Desperate Housewives cast member is ready to walk away from Wisteria Lane.  The news has been fueled by a statement she said, hinting that she now has a new goal in the form of motherhood.

A month after walking down the aisle with NBA star Tony Parker in July, Longoria made known to the public that she and Tony are talking about having children but is willing to put motherhood on hold for the sake of continuing her successful stint on Desperate Housewives as Gabrielle.  She even said that she'll never depart from the series unless it's coming to an end and that she'll never work on another television show after ABC's dramedy.

According to recent reports, however, Longoria is now planning to quit the series to have a baby.
"I've always loved the idea of having lots of children,” Longoria said.  “If I'm around any baby, I'm like, 'Aaaaahhhh, babies!'”

"I was pretty ambitions when I moved to Hollywood and I succeeded.  But now I've found new ambitions.  I want to work, I want to be a great wife and I want to have children.  This is a new chapter in my life. I will be very sad to go but I'll have more time to do movies," she added.
 
Aside from her mommy ambition, Longoria also reveals how much of a dedicated housewife she is.  In fact, she flies to Texas just to cook Parker breakfast. While she pursues acting in Los Angeles, her husband plies his trade in Texas which is the home base of his basketball team, the San Antonio Spurs.

"Texas is home, Los Angeles is where I work.  If Desperate Housewives call me and say you're off tomorrow, I'll catch a red-eye flight to Texas, be there in time to make Tony breakfast, fix him lunch and dinner, then fly back," she said.
