Write About Your Favorite Show: BuddyTV is Looking for Fan Columnists
Are you an obsessed TV fan like us? Do you have that one show that you just can't miss? Do you talk to your TV while your program is on? It's ok, here at BuddyTV, we understand.

If you have a passion for TV and have something to say, we want to hear from you. We're looking for a dedicated fan columnist who wants to see their name in a byline on BuddyTV week after week, and receive other exclusive BuddyTV perks.

Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.

We're currently seeking a devoted fan to write about the following shows:

  • CSI
  • CSI: Miami
  • Desperate Housewives
  • Criminal Minds
  • Brothers and Sisters

A Fan Columnist writes weekly recaps for the show. We're looking for someone who can not only narrow the recap down just to the important moments but also bring insights and fun only a fan could come up with.

To give it a shot, please write a recap of the most recently aired episode for one of the shows above. You may want to check out a couple of examples from current Fan Columnist's to use as a guide: One Tree Hill, Gossip Girl, or Mad Men (Recaps should be kept to 500-800 words)

How to submit to BuddyTV:

  1. Copy and paste your article into an email. Make sure you tell us what episode you are recapping.
  2. Email your submission to feedback@buddytv.com
  3. The subject line must include: Fan Columnist-[Name of Show]
  4. Please limit your recaps to no more than 800 words

Something to consider before submitting:

  • This is a non-paid position. However, there is an exclusive award system of tokens and badges for Fan Columnists. Plus, you'll have a byline on one of the fastest growing TV sites on the Web and an article for your clips file. And did we mention you get to watch TV?
  •  All content on BuddyTV.com is subject to change. Any content submitted may be corrected, changed, or rewritten in any way by BuddyTV staff after being submitted.
  • Submissions go through a review and editing process and may or may not appear on the site.
  • All submissions will be considered and no individual or group will be shown favoritism.
  • All content must be original and never before published. Credit must be given and sourced properly (Name and link directing back to the article). Plagiarism is stealing and brings bad karma, so we like to abide by copyright laws
  • Click here for a Style Guide for submissions.

  • We will be going through submissions as they come in. So while there is no deadline, once the position has been filled we will no longer be accepting submissions. It's best to send them as soon as you can. Good luck to everyone!
