Desperate Housewives star, Eva Longoria, got an outdoor bridal bash at costar’s Felicity Huffman’s Los Angeles home on Sunday, April 15. Also included in the bridal shower were Desperate Housewives cast members Teri Hatcher, Marcia Cross and Brenda Strong, along with hairstylist Ken Paves and Robert Verdi.

Longoria, a 32-year old native of Corpus Christi, Texas, is a Golden Globe Award-nominated actress. She currently plays Gabrielle Solis on ABC’s drama comedy Desperate Housewives. Prior to her inclusion on Desperate Housewives, she worked as an international model, appearing in high profile advertising campaigns and men’s magazines. As an actress, she appeared on shows like General Hospital, Beverly Hills 90210, The Young and the Restless and Dragnet. On November 30, 2006, her engagement to NBA basketball star Tony Parker was made known to the public. The couple plans to wed on July 7, 2007 in Paris.

The small gathering consisted of a sit-down lunch adorned with little pink houses as centerpieces on the brown and pink tables. The guests feasted on a salad bar with chicken salmon, shrimp, gourmet cheeses with various wines and martinis. For desert, they gorged on chocolate chip cookies, brownies and white-chocolate pastries.

Her friends intended to bring out Longoria’s “inner housewife” by showering her with gift she could adorn her house with, as well as cookware and lots of cookbooks. When People asked Hoffman what gift she got Longoria for her bash, she wittily replied, “I'm giving her this damn shower. I don't have to get her a present as well, do I?”

Looks like everything’s going according to plan for Longoria. In an interview with People during the Laureus World Sports Awards in Barcelona, Longoria enthusiastically spoke about her wedding plans. She said, “The wedding arrangements are going very well, everything's great. We have a lot of things planned.”
