Much like
Dina Lohan, celebrity mom Denise Richards just can't stay out of the spotlight. She recently launched her own reality series,
Denise Richards: It's Complicated, where she wishes to set the record straight and show the world how much of a devoted mother she really is. Following her bitter divorce with actor Charlie Sheen, she has been struggling to support her children, 2-year-old Lola and 3-year-old Sam.
"I've had every negative thing possible written about me, most of it not true," Denise Richards told
USA Today. "I'm just going to be myself and let people see me, and they can make a decision. I've learned to have a thick skin, and, to be truthful, eventually the truth comes out."
Apparently the truth came out when Richards asked Sheen to come to their child's Family Day event in school. She says that he replied nastily, saying awful things to her.
"His response was, 'I hope you and your worthless retarded father get cancer and join your stupid mom," Denise Richards told the
New York Post. "Rot in hell you w----.' My mom died of cancer. This is what I deal with on a weekly basis."
Of course, Sheen did not attend the school affair. Richards was disgusted at his attitude and claimed that the rumored email she sent him regarding a request for his sperm donation was completely false.
"I don't want Charlie's prostitute-tranny-infested sperm," she told the
New York Post. "I have two beautiful kids. We'll leave it at that."
Moreover, Richards stressed the fact that she has moved on from their divorce, saying, "I am so over him. He's the one who can't move on. He's disgusting and he's hit an all-time low."
Amidst all the fuming and back lashing, Richards says that she needs to be strong and make it on her own.
"I just do it. I got a lot of strength from my mom. I was with her when she died," she tells USA Today. "I just have to get through this time with my kids, my family, my friends. Life is so short."
Indeed, life is short. So get caught up in the drama and tune in to
