deal or no dealNBC has decided to raise the stakes on Deal or No Deal as it continues with its multi-million dollar madness.  Beginning on Tuesday, May 22 and ending on Tuesday, June 24, Deal or No Deal contestants will attempt to take fate in their own hands when they get to determine just how many $1 million cases they get to have on their board.

In this most prestigious multi-million dollar madness, host Howie Mandel lets each player in on a little secret with huge consequences: the number of $1 million cases can range from two all the way to 13.  In order to choose this crucial and potentially life altering number, players are asked to stand in a clear cylinder and choose from among the many golden balls swirling around.  As expected, each ball has a designated number inside that will determine how many additional million-dollar cases will be in play.

Susan Cukjati starts and the Banker is in hot water as she gains control over her game play, earning 11 $1 million cases on her board.  As luck would have it, contestant Adam Hansen chooses a ball with a number 12 in it, while Chris Trieu picks a ball with a three.  Player Toni Crispino, on the other hand, eagerly adds seven extra $1 million cases and Brandy Brown increases her chance at becoming a millionaire when she selects a ball with an eight on it.

Meanwhile, viewers will also have the chance to win $10,000 as they help select a new Deal or No Deal model for next season.  The final winner will be announced on Wednesday, June 25 at 8pm on NBC prior to the premiere of the new reality series The Baby Borrowers, which features five couples as they attempt to look after a baby for three days before moving onto toddlers, pre-teens, teenagers and an elderly person.
