Born in Maple Ridge, British Columbia in Canada on mid-June, 1972, Molly Parker is an actress best known for her role on a string of highly acclaimed series such as Deadwood, Six Feet Under, and more recently CBS’ Swingtown. Moreover, she received a Genie Award for her performance in the movie Kissed. She played Alma Garret Ellsworth, the adoptive parent of Sofia Metz, on Deadwood. Previously, her husband died under mysterious conditions and she has developed a close relationship with Bullock that eventually developed into a full-blown romantic affair. She grew up and spent most of her teen years in Pitt Meadows, BC. She has a younger brother named Henry.
Parker’s most notable roles include those in her independent movies as well as on Six Feet Under, where she played Rabbi Ari Hoffman. In 1996, she gained recognition for playing necrophiliac Sandra Larson in the film Kissed. She won a Genie Award for her portrayal and gained recognition for playing difficult roles such as that in Kissed, and her role as a sympathetic lap dancer and paid escort in The Center of the World. He is also known for the role on the CBS series Swingtown.
