Gerald McRaney was born on August 19, 1947 in Collins, Mississippi. Previously, he appeared in films like Gunsmoke, The Incredible Hulk and Night of Bloody Horror. Apart from being an actor, he is also a conservative Republican who supported soldiers in Operation Desert Storm. Ultimately, he became part of the television series Deadwood as George Hearst.

George Hearst is a successful California businessman who aims to gain total control of Deadwood, or else have it destroyed if he cannot reign over the camp.
