Garret Dillahunt was born on November 24, 1964 in Alameda, California. He started his acting career on Broadway and then eventually landed roles on television. Previously, he portrayed Steve Curtis in the medical drama ER. His other film credits included Law & Order, Seven Days, CSI and NYPD Blue. Ultimately, he became part of the television series Deadwood as Francis Wolcott. He also appeared in films such as The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford and the award-winning No Country for Old Men. Francis Wolcott is the head geologist of wealthy San Francisco mining tycoon George Hearst. Initially, he is frowned over by Farnum.
