Alice Krige was born on June 28, 1954 in Upington, South Africa. She studied at Rhodes University and attended the Central School of Speech and Drama in London. As an actress, she was popularly known for her role as the Borg Queen in the series
Star Trek. In television, she appeared on
BBC: Play for Today, A Tale of Two Cities, The Professionals and
Ladykiller to name a few. Her movie credits included
King David, Ghost Story, Chariots of Fire and
Sleepwalkers. Moreover, she became part of the television series Deadwood as Maddie.
Maddie is a former prostitute. Previously, she was hired by
Joanie Stubbs to be the Madame of the Chez Amis. Eventually, she sets up
Wolcott but is slaughtered by him during the extortion.
